Gloria and Her Baby Girl Will Not Face This Alone

September 26, 2026

Gloria and her two-month-old daughter were caught in the crossfire of the ongoing terror attacks in Plateau State, Nigeria. Both mother and baby suffered gunshot wounds.

A mother and her infant daughter should never have to endure this – and they should not have to face the aftermath alone.

Equipping the Persecuted is covering Gloria’s and her daughter’s medical bills and doing everything we can to help them receive the care they need.

Recovering in hospital after the attacks in Plateau State.

Gloria’s family is one of many. According to our latest information from the ground, more than 60 Christians have been killed in Plateau State over the last week. Behind that number are families grieving loved ones, wounded survivors still needing treatment, and children whose lives have been changed forever.

Thousands are evacuating their homes and moving into camps for internally displaced people, where they urgently need food, medical attention, and basic supplies.

There is one encouraging development: local military and police units are engaging the attackers and defending communities alongside village security teams. We are grateful for everyone risking their lives to protect innocent people. But our teams report that these defenders are outnumbered and outgunned, and they urgently need reinforcements and support as attacks continue across the area.

Your gift today helps cover medical care for survivors like Gloria and her daughter, and helps get food and basic supplies to families arriving in the camps with nothing.
